Description:

Our public sector client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Managers to lead complex IT modernization and business transformation initiatives.

This work includes managing the migration of legacy workloads to cloud platforms, modernizing grant and opportunity management systems, and aligning business processes across multiple business lines under federal governance frameworks. The role requires coordinating diverse stakeholders and ensuring delivery under Treasury Board gating requirements.

Must haves:

• 3+ years’ experience leading projects using an iterative (Agile/incremental) approach with frequent stakeholder demos and feedback loops
• Valid project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, PM degree or MBA with PM specialization)
• Secret security clearance

Nice to haves:

• Experience managing projects under the Treasury Board project gating framework

Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, development, testing, and implementation of technical initiatives
• Oversee cloud migration and modernization of enterprise systems (Azure/Power Platform, grants solutions, document management)
• Coordinate stakeholders across multiple business lines, ensuring alignment with Government of Canada standards
• Produce and maintain project artefacts (charters, integrated plans, risk registers, reports, lessons learned)
• Provide regular progress reporting to senior executives and stakeholders
