Our public sector client requires a Senior Secret cleared.NET Developer to ensure applications associated with a large database migration are refactored, tested and redeployed in the public sector. Our client has a requirement to migrate 221 Oracle databases currently on premise AIX Oracle 19c environment to a PostgreSQL on premise environment in SSC EDC data centre.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support all phases of development and deployment;
• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces (e.g., web forms, reports) and all supporting .NET classes;
• Design, develop, and integrate APIs, workflows, and plugins within .NET-based solutions and other systems;
• Develop and execute test scripts to ensure software quality and functionality;
• Lead data migration efforts, including developing scripts, migrating data, and performing quality assurance;
• Refactor and optimize code for high performance and maintainability;
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure best practices and alignment with business requirements;
• Develop and maintain a platform roadmap and functional design specifications;
• Provide regular status updates to the Project Authority;
• Package applications for deployment and coordinate user testing and training sessions;
• Collaborate with agile development teams and IM/IT staff to customize, deploy, and integrate .NET-based solutions and other technologies;
• Estimate, prioritize, and manage work schedules to meet project deadlines;
• Assess the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions and ensure alignment with business goals and;

Must have:

• Secret clearance
• .NET experience
• MVC or Razor or Blazor experience
• JavaScript or jQuery or TypeScript experience

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
