Position Title: Business Systems Analyst - Senior

Target Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - Thursdays and 4th Friday of the month.

Office Location: 81 Bay 27th Floor

Job Description:

• Understanding Requirements:

Work closely with Business Partners to guide the formulation of complex solution requirements and participate in design discussions to meet project needs, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA.

• Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and technical specifications, specifically for SAP S/4HANA projects.

• Data Analysis:

Utilize tools such as SQL and Excel to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights within SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Relationship Building:

Establish strong relationships with Business Partners, Colleagues, and Managers to foster collaboration and cooperative learning.

• Projects:

Contribute to complex projects by designing strategic solutions aligned with The Banks enterprise architecture roadmap, particularly those leveraging SAP S/4HANA.

• Communication:

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas, research findings, and assessments.

• Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.

• Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs.

• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.

• Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed.

• Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.

• Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.

• Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.

Must Have Requirement:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA ERP as a Business systems analyst

• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting

• Strong documentation skills (business requirements, process flows, technical specs)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

• Directly engaged in SAP S/4HANA implementations and support

Nice to Have:

• Accounting and Finance Knowledge ; Understanding of balance sheets, income statements, etc.

• Business Acumen ; Knowledge of business operations and financial reporting

• Analytical Thinking ; Ability to interpret financial data and provide insights

• Finance Tech Domain or

• Workday integrations.

• Experience in Financial Systems especially SAP S/4HANA modules like S/4-GL and Group Reporting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with SAP ETL tools, specifically:

--- SAP SDI (Smart Data Integration)

--- SAP Data Services

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

• 5-7 years experience required.
