Senior SAP full stack ABAP developer with ECC and Fiori/UI5 to do enhancement and support of an existing in-house built application in a enterprise environment

This is 100% remote role but client requires the consultant to be located in Alberta (preferrable Calgary).

Contract 9 months to start with potential for renewal

Must have:

• Experience as a Senior SAP ABAP developer leading end to end development for enhancement, integration and support using ECC and Fiori/UI5
• Experience with SAP BTP
• Strong experience with Workflow and workflow optimization
• Experience with reports, OData and forms in SAP
• Proficiency in Groovy scripts, XSLT, XML, and JSON

Nice to have:

• SAP certifications

Responsibilities:

• SAP Developer will primarily be responsible for participating in the effective delivery of Information Technology business systems that are in alignment with the business objectives
• This is a hands-on working role in which the incumbent completes all work required to improve and support the applications.
• This position is responsible for day-to-day break-fix and enhancement activities reported or requested by our business users, in addition to assigned project activities.
• This role will help in the identification, communication and resolution of systems issues to maximize the benefit of IT services to the business
• Complete application development in coordination with a Project Manager and Solution Architect to develop technical solutions. This involves analyzing alternative solutions, recommending solutions, creating technical specifications, providing the project team and leadership with accurate estimates of effort, and executing based on an agreed upon solution design.
• Analyze day-to-day functions and processes of software, database resources, and integration flows to ensure they are performing within predetermined guidelines, limits, and specifications; provide status reports and analysis documents as needed.
• Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of SAP development efforts.
