Senior SAP Finance Lead to drive the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions

Our valued client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Lead to drive the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. This role will lead end-to-end financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

Location: Fully Remote (occasional travel required - T&L covered)

Duration: 6 months plus extension

Start Date: ASAP

Security: Must be eligible for Reliability Clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) solutions
• Define and implement financial processes including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and Cash Management
• Configure and manage FI/CO master data, including internal orders and financial structures
• Oversee accounting and closing operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
• Support financial planning and reporting processes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions
• Ensure proper configuration of organizational structures, chart of accounts, and financial controls
• Lead system integration efforts across SAP modules and external systems
• Support testing phases (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
• Provide leadership, guidance, and best practices to functional and technical teams

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO)
• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations or upgrades
• Strong hands-on configuration experience in:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• General Ledger (GL)
• Asset Accounting
• Cash Management
• Internal Orders
• Experience with accounting and financial closing processes
• Deep understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance
• Strong experience with SAP HANA Financial Accounting configuration
• Ability to lead workshops and engage senior stakeholders
