Senior SAP Developer to support and lead enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA initiative

S.i System's client is looking for a Senior SAP Developer to support and lead enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA initiative

12 month contract - high chance of extension - 37.5 hours/week - 3 days a week onsite in Vancouver open to Calgary or Toronto candidates willing to work PST timezone and travel occasionally

MUST HAVES:

• Extensive SAP ABAP experience in S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or conversions
• Expertise in OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, OData, Enhancements (BAdIs/User Exits), and Adobe/SmartForms
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of SAP FI, SD, and core logistics processes
• Experience with integrations (IDocs, RFCs, APIs, web services)
• Understanding of S/4HANA architecture, data models, and simplification items
• Proven performance tuning and debugging experience in HANA environments
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 from a backend enablement perspective
• Exposure to SAP BTP, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), or SAP Cloud integrations
• Knowledge of SAP security concepts, role design impacts, and authorization objects related to custom development
• Experience working within SAP Activate or Agile delivery methodologies
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD alignment in SAP landscapes
• Experience in regulated industries with strong audit and compliance required
