Description
Our large, enterprise client is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive growth and lead a highly ambitious software sales team.
This is a permanent, full-time employee position with a competitive salary, benefits, and cultural perks offered! The successful candidate will be based in Calgary and agreeable to a hybrid 3 days in office working model and comfortable travelling frequently to Edmonton when required.
Must-Haves:
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in sales coupled with direct or indirect leadership experience
- Experience within software sales, particular to the payrolling industry
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Skill in building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Capability to analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, assess performance, and make data-driven decisions
Nice-to-Haves:
- Salesforce CRM experience
- Experience liaising with small and mid-sized clientele
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage key initiatives for the sales team, reflective of the company’s performance, strategic and brand development objectives.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual quotas through territory analysis, accurate sales forecasting and executing sales team strategies by prospecting new business and developing client relationships.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify new sales opportunities and market trends.
- Monitoring sales metrics, you will create and implement sale strategies to capitalize on opportunities to secure new business and exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with top accounts through regular communication, follow-ups, and support to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Ensuring CRM is up to date and accurately reflects personal and team sales pipeline.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for sales leadership.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Accurately forecast quarterly and annual revenues based on activity within the CRM system and knowledge of the team’s active sales pipeline.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and promote our brand and solutions.
