Our financial services client is seeking a Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ Analyst (10+ years) to maintain and support enterprise Identity and Access Management operations


Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension)

Location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid - 2 Days/Week Onsite


Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Analyst to join the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. This role is 95% production support with a focus on platform administration, troubleshooting, and operational stability. Development experience is not required but is considered a strong asset.


The ideal candidate brings deep SailPoint IIQ knowledge, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to take initiative in resolving issues without waiting for direction.

Critical Skills / Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ) experience
  • Production support & incident management within an enterprise SailPoint environment
  • Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles and governance
  • Experience with provisioning workflows, access certifications, and lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with directory integrations (Active Directory, LDAP, Entra ID)
  • SQL and Linux
  • Experience with RBAC/ABAC policy frameworks and Segregation of Duties (SoD)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • SailPoint IIQ development knowledge (BeanShell/Java scripting, custom rules, workflows)
  • Application onboarding and connector development
  • Integration experience with HR systems (Workday, PeopleSoft) and ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
  • Exposure to SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) / Identity Security Cloud (ISC)
  • Financial services industry background (FSI compliance, SOX, regulatory frameworks)
  • SailPoint Certified Identity IQ Engineer or Architect designation

Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1/L2 production support for SailPoint IdentityIQ, primarily handling B4/B5 level tickets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identities, access, workflows, and certifications
  • Perform platform maintenance, cleanup activities, and operational support tasks
  • Create, modify, and interpret SailPoint rules (understanding of rule logic required)
  • Support identity lifecycle processes and occasional application onboarding
  • Collaborate with IAM, security, and application teams to ensure stable operations
