Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Tester to conduct test planning, manual testing, test coordination, and test automation development.

Background:

The organization has a responsibility to ensure the quality and reliability of digital solutions. The QA Tester is required in order to coordinate test planning and execution, develop test scenarios and automation scripts, and provide regular status updates to the Project Manager. They will establish and maintain software testing procedures with a strong focus on automation, and lead interoperability testing to ensure compatibility and performance across shared infrastructure. Additionally, they will implement a robust validation and verification framework to confirm functional and performance compliance.

Tasks:

• Review and analyze both system and applications’ specifications
• Collaborate with the project team to develop effective test plans and test cases based on the acceptance criteria
• Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze test results
• Log and report defects to project team using Azure devOps
• Build and improve the test automation script engine
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Work directly with the QA resources to increase test coverage/scope
• Work directly with QA developer resource on the automation test script engine
• Work directly with the QA resources to automate test scripts
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Must Haves:

• Test Automation development - 5+ years
• Manual System and Application Testing - 5+ years
• Automated System and Application Testing - 5+ years
• IT related degree or diploma
• Secret Clearance
