Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology and business projects with SDLC methodologies for a banking client

Must Haves:

• 6+ years of IT project management leading enterprise-scale initiatives
• 3+ years managing cross-functional teams including third-party vendors
• Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies
• Solid understanding of the SDLC for software and business process change
• Active PMP or PMI-ACP certification

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in financial or regulated industries
• Hands-on exposure to portfolio or program-level reporting
• Familiarity with enterprise project tools such as Jira or Clarity
• Background in vendor governance or contract oversight
• Ability to quickly assess and remediate project risks

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, success criteria, and stakeholder deliverables
• Execute project plans with defined budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
• Partner with program leadership to maintain alignment with portfolio goals
• Identify and mitigate risks while reporting on progress and financial status
• Lead cross-functional and vendor teams to achieve project milestones
• Develop and maintain precise project artifacts and documentation
• Maintain governance discipline to prevent scope creep and ensure delivery quality
