Senior project manager for a cyber security firm working with senior executives boards and organizations on complex security, risk, and threat environments

Our client is a boutique global cybersecurity firm entering an exciting phase of growth. They advise senior executives, boards, and organizations on complex security, risk, and threat environments and are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact client engagements while partnering closely with executive leadership and multidisciplinary teams. This role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-trust environment.

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex cybersecurity engagements.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing across multiple concurrent projects.

Client & Stakeholder Management

· Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during engagements, ensuring clear communication and proactive issue resolution.

· Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.

· Support executive leadership in client briefings, status updates, and post-engagement reviews.

Cross-Functional Coordination

· Translate client objectives into clear deliverables and actionable work plans.

· Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues appropriately.

Operational Excellence

· Track key performance indicators, project milestones, and financial metrics.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies as the firm scales.

Confidentiality & Professional Judgment

· Handle sensitive, confidential, and high-risk matters with discretion and professionalism.

· Exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations involving executive-level stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in security, cybersecurity, professional services, or consulting.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with senior executives or boards.
• Experience working in fast-growing, entrepreneurial, or professional services firms.
• PMP or equivalent certification is an asset but not required.
• High degree of integrity, discretion, and accountability.
