Senior Product Analyst to help support a Data and Application Modernization project

Our valued client requires a Senior Product Analyst to help support a Data and Application Modernization project.

Must haves:

• Experience with Jira
• 5-7 years’ experience in an IT analyst role
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Marketing, or Commerce and 4-6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working in an agile environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Credit Decisioning systems in a financial organization
• Exposure to data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI or AWS Glue/RedShift

Tasks include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate complex business processes into clear, testable data requirements
• Partner with ETL and BI developers to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support backlog grooming and prioritization in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Contribute to data quality, governance, and observability efforts.
• Facilitate demos and feedback loops with stakeholders.
• Manage incidents and incoming enhancement requests.
• Support investigation, analysis, and response to incidents.
• Ensure high quality of development and solution before product increment release.
