Our client is looking for a Senior Payroll Consultant to support system testing, data validation, manage parallel payroll runs and go-live activities for a Dayforce implementation

This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week in Calgary office

Must Haves

• 10+ years of experience in Payroll Operations and Systems Implementation
• Hands-on expertise in Dayforce payroll configuration and execution
• Experience reconciling data migrations from JDE or other legacy systems
• Proven experience leading parallel payroll runs and variance analysis
• Strong understanding of HCM integrations with HR, Finance, and Timekeeping systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with JDE HR/Payroll and Kronos
• Prior work alongside large Systems Integrators (e.g., EY)
• Background bridging payroll and IT functions during transformation projects
• Experience developing or validating process documentation for payroll operations

Responsibilities

• Validate and document payroll requirements, including edge cases and risks
• Execute SIT and UAT payroll test cycles and track defect resolution
• Reconcile migrated payroll data and verify accuracy across systems
• Conduct and sign off on parallel payroll runs with variance analysis
• Support payroll cutover and post-go-live stabilization activities
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure configuration accuracy
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing BAU payroll operations
