Our client is looking for a Senior Palo Alto Technical Lead to oversee the implementation of remote access, network integration and cloud services for 10,000 users

This role can be 100% remote, but will require you to work 8-4pm MST M-F

Must Haves:

• 8+ years hands on experience working as a Network/Security Analyst in enterprise networking and cybersecurity roles
• Proven success in leading large-scale cloud security implementations
• 3+ years' experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies
• Experience with ZTNA, SWG, CASB, and hybrid cloud architectures
• Experience with IPSEC VPNs, remote network integration, and bandwidth management
• Familiarity with identity providers (SSO, MFA), SIEM tools, and DLP frameworks
• PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)

Nice to Have:

• CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
• Cloud Architect certifications (Azure, GCP or OCI)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Prisma Access components:
• GlobalProtect Agent, PAC File, Prisma Access Browser
• ZTNA Connectors, Service Connections, Remote Networks (IPSec)
• Architect secure access for Privileged Remote Access (SSH, RDP, VNC)
• Integrate Firewall-as-a-Service across 150+ Prisma locations.
• Implement and tune security services:
• ZTNA, SWG, Advanced URL Filtering, DNS Security, Threat Prevention, WildFire, CASB, SaaSInline, GenAI Access Security
• Oversee Data Loss Prevention via browser-based controls.
• Manage centralized logging and monitoring via Strata Cloud Manager (1-year retention)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, security, infrastructure, compliance)
• Develop documentation, runbooks, and training materials.
• Serve as technical escalation point and mentor for engineering teams.
