Location: Scarborough
Hybrid/Remote: 2 days - Tuesday is mandatory
Extension or FTE: Possibility for extension

Standard hours - Monday - Friday- 9:00 -5:00pm, 37.5 Hours Per Week
Story Behind the Need:
Bank Global Network Engineering Group is planning to migrate the on-premises Contact Center System Avaya to Cisco WebEx Cloud Calling. Currently, we are working on the solution evaluation and looking for a Telecom and Cloud Network Engineer to determine the network and telecom (SIP trunk) requirements and design specifications for Contact Center cloud solution (CCaaS).
Project
This is an opportunity to work on an existing project - Avaya to Cisco WebEx\Genesys migration.
Typical Day in Role:
• Design and validate the network solution between CCaaS cloud platform and Contact Center and Remote Agents. Ensure the traffic optimization and service quality.
• Design and validate the call routing solution for Telco SIP trunk, on premises PBX systems and Cisco WebEx cloud platform
• Build the lab environment for the Proof of concept.
• Participated in the migration plan, methodology, process development for Cisco WebEx transformation.
• Troubleshoot the issue on the production environment and provide the root cause analysis and resolution.
• Provide the discover and update the inventory on the production system and prepare the documentations.
• Create the security design document (SDD), High level design document(HDD), present the solution to Architecture Review board and obtain the approval.
• Collaborate across various functional teams on assigned tasks and meet the tight timeline.
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 10+ years of overall experience as a Network Engineer in large, complex enterprise environments.
2. 5+ years of hands on experience from design to deployment across SIP protocol, HMR, call routing, dial plans, Telco SIP trunking (including BYOC solutions), Oracle SBC, and ECB products.
3. 3+ years of extended experience with cloud connectivity models for CCaaS solutions, including MPLS, SD WAN, WebRTC, QoS, and working knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).
4. 3+ years of experience leading On Prem Avaya Contact Center to CCaaS migration projects in large enterprise environments (1000+ agents, 100+ call flows) across multiple regions.
Nice-To Have Skills:
• Ability to use script to automate the manual process in service provisioning, root cause analysis, monitoring alerts, reporting.
• Experience in business case development process and design cost benefit analysis.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
• Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal direction.
Best vs. Average Candidate:
This is a Network Engineer position for Contact Center migration from Avaya to Cisco WebEx. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Network Design for CCaaS technologies, expertise with SIP Trunk (BYOC) and Oracle SBC, Oracle EOM, Oracle ECB are a must have. As well as involvement in Cisco WebEx migration projects within a large enterprise setting.
Education:
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification/ Cisco WebEx/Genesys cloud specialist certification is an asset

• Second round interview with the Director - behavioral and technical
The team will evaluate both soft skills and technical skills during the interview process.
