Description
Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Senior Java developer with .NET experience to provide comprehensive application and database support for a legacy portfolio. The ideal candidate should possess robust programming skills with a focus on JAVA development, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and discussion process, including daily stand-up meetings and retrospectives.
- Deliver incremental software enhancements and associated steps, following the development methodology.
- Develop the application for enhancements using JAVA, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, identify areas for improvement, provide constructive feedback, and perform code refactoring to enhance quality and maintainability.
- Attend meetings to gather feedback about the current state of the application and make the necessary adjustments based on new insights and user feedback.
Must have:
- .NET development experience
- Java development experience
- MVC experience
- API experience
Nice to have:
- GOC experience
