Senior IT Business Analyst to support the development of new high-value features to drive growth in our clients e-commerce journeys. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of designers, product managers, and developers whose mission is to offer innovative solutions to our clients, complementing their insurance products.

The specific mandate of this team is to work on Growth Hacking, A/B tests and larger scale initiatives to drive growth in the web-quote experience.

Work Mode - Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite in Montreal

What you’ll do:

• Analyze business needs to define IT solutions
• Lead / prepare / participate in business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions.
• Make impact analysis and effort estimates to advocate, get approval, then document the IT solution using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT project team.
• Support the development of solutions and monitor the velocity of the team.
• Support test quality assurance activities and user acceptance tests.
• Support Product Managers in handling their backlogs and prioritize work to be done.
• Act as a representative of the product manager during certain meetings to clearly communicate the product objectives and requirements to our delivery stakeholders.
• Document User Stories and permanent product documentation effectively so they can be clearly understood by Front End, Back End developers and Quality Assurance.
• Identify and convey the impacts on Business processes to support change management in Business units via train the trainer documents and procedures.
• Build a solid, reusable and thorough system documentation to be used by any stakeholders.
• Define and optimize the business analysis processes for the team.

• Must Haves

• Proven experience building front-end, customer facing applications web-responsive applications
• Experience working in close collaboration with Product and Design roles in a cross-functional team,
• A combination of expertise in business analysis and technical analysis. It is essential to understand business objectives in order to translate them into technical requirements.
• Ability to thrive in an exploratory environment. Most of the high-value features will be new and will require paving the way for Intact.
• Mastery of JIRA and Confluence and proven project experiences in Scrum mode
• Bilingualism (French and English) - Requires regular interaction with colleagues across the country

Nice To Have

• Experience and knowledge in the insurance field is an asset.
