Description
Our client requires a Senior IAM/PAM Governance Advisor to provide strategic and operational security governance, including updating of policies, on a large post-acquisition integration.
Candidate must be located in Calgary or Toronto.
Must Have:
- IAM and PAM Governance Risk and Compliance strong experience designing and enforcing:
- Access governance models
- Role‑based and attribute‑based access controls (RBAC/ABAC)
- Segregation of Duties (SoD)
- IAM & PAM policies, standards, and procedures
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks ISO 27001 / 27002, NIST, CIS Controls, SOX, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS (as applicable)
- Strong writing experience - refine and define Policies, Standards, Governance language. Ability to modernize policy language.
Nice to Have:
- Former Merger or Acquisition experience
- Audit & Assurance- Supporting internal and external audits
- Evidence collection
- Control walkthroughs
- Audit remediation tracking
- Continuous improvement of controls based on audit finding
Responsibilities:
- Translate risk findings into governance controls and remediation actions
- Access request, approval, and review workflows
- Privileged access operating models
- Defining control ownership, escalation paths, and exception handling
- Policy & Control Design
