Our client is a market leader in private railcar leasing company, specializing in the provision and maintenance of tank and freight cars. They are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong Flutter, Restful APIs to build intuitive and reliable UI applications. This role focuses on cross-platform development.

This application will support railcar inspections, repairs, and operational workflows. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers in an Agile environment to deliver high-impact solutions.

Location: Oakville - 2 days/week onsite

Duration: 4 Months to Start

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive UI applications using Flutter, supporting web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
• Collaborate in Agile sprints with developers, QA, and product teams to deliver new features.
• Ensure code quality through design patterns, proper error handling, and code reviews.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, standups, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot issues, support production apps, and contribute to technical documentation.
• Develop user-facing features for applications across platforms using Flutter.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with engineering standards.
• Engage in technical design, peer reviews, and sprint ceremonies.
• Collaborate on UX, functional requirements, and product improvements.
• Review pull requests and assist teammates with troubleshooting and bug resolution.
• Deliver reliable solutions that meet business needs and design specifications.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members on progress and blockers.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production-grade mobile and/or web applications using Flutter/Dart.
• Strong experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work well in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Creative problem-solving mindset and solid UI/UX understanding.
• Experience with:
