Senior Financial Analyst - 75669

Duration: 6 months (Possibility of Extension or Conversion)

Location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid 2 days a week

Description

The consultants will be essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4/HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes. This consultant will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S/4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP. The consultant is expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.

This role required someone who is a self-starter, organized, and is great at cross-collaboration.

Must Have Requirements:

• 5-7 years of financial and/or regulatory reporting experience at a consolidated level

• Experience within large financial institutions - Background in Accounting (reporting end)

• Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts

• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.

• Stakeholder management

Nice to Have Requirements:

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards

• Previous experience analyzing and enhancing reporting hierarchies

• Familiarity with S/4HANA (preferably previous experience)
