Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of a Senior EAM (Maximo) Project Manager to manage cost, schedule and performance of Capital projects.

ROLE:

This is a high profile, client-facing position on a multi-year project across multiple departments. You are a proven performer able to execute at multiple levels and balance competing demands. The Project Manager for EAM is responsible for planning, directing, managing and co-ordinating the daily activities of the EAM project Team consisting of dedicated IT resources, specific internal and external program resources and vendors. These teams will be responsible for the coordination, implementation and management of multi-year, multi-discipline Capital Program projects from inception, planning, design, procurement and commissioning to project close-out. Emphasis is given to creating, developing, and updating the necessary tools and strategies to execute the Client's Corporate Asset Management Policy and liaising with various stakeholders of the Asset Management Executive (AMX) Committee throughout the process. This position acts as the Client's representative to exercise/delegate such authority or discretion as required. The incumbent is required to effectively manage through all phases of the project life cycle to ensure that functionality and performance objectives are met on schedule and within approved budgets. The incumbent prepares detailed project plans, schedules and budgets; and oversees all aspects of project execution.

This work assignment relies on a range of infrastructure and fleet assets to provide a convenient, reliable, safe and sustainable transit service. It is important that these assets continue to meet acceptable levels of performance and support the delivery of services in a sustainable manner.

MUST HAVE:

· Must hold current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI

· Experience implementing IBM Maximo

· Experience managing large asset management system implementation in a public setting

· Expertise with MS Project and MS Project Online, developing and maintain projects schedules and other office suite of productivity tools.
