Senior Director / VP, Release Management & Strategic Delivery

Location: Remote (Canada or USA | Eastern / Central Time Preferred)

We are engaged on an executive search for a senior leadership hire reporting directly to the CTO, responsible for strengthening delivery execution across a global healthcare technology organization.

This role combines strategic PMO leadership, release governance, operational execution, and organizational leadership development.

The successful leader will function as a critical operational extension of the CTO, driving delivery rigor across globally distributed teams and helping build stronger leadership capability beneath executive level.

Leadership Scope

Lead approximately 40-45 professionals globally across:

• Program Management Office
• Release Management
• Release Train Engineering
• Technical Documentation / Writing
• Delivery support functions tied to execution governance

Core Mandate

• Transform PMO into a proactive execution engine
• Drive stronger delivery accountability across product and engineering organizations
• Elevate program leadership capability
• Create stronger leadership bench strength beneath CTO
• Improve organizational operating rhythm
• Act as senior escalation and decision-making partner to CTO

Must Haves:

• Senior enterprise leadership experience in healthcare technology, medtech, or complex software organizations
• Proven ownership of PMO / strategic delivery / release leadership at scale
• Experience leading globally distributed teams
• Executive-level stakeholder influence
• Strong operational judgment

Strongly Preferred

• Healthcare domain expertise
• Enterprise imaging or regulated product environments
• SAFe / Agile enterprise delivery structures
• Experience operating near C-suite
