We are seeking experienced Data Engineers to support a large-scale data initiative within a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidates will have strong experience working with legacy and modern data structures, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and work across multiple data models and platforms.

Location: Toronto - Hybrid 2 day per week onsite

Project Scope - Hogan-CIS to MDM modernization project

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex data models to support data engineering and integration activities
• Work with IMS DB data structures, including understanding hierarchical data relationships
• Interpret and manipulate DB2 data structures for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Analyze and work with IBM MDM Server data models and structures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, developers, and business stakeholders
• Support data migration, integration, and validation activities
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure data quality and integrity
• Document data structures, mappings, and transformation logic

Must Haves

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex data models
• Hands-on experience with IMS DB (hierarchical databases)
• Strong knowledge of DB2 data structures
• Experience working with IBM MDM (Master Data Management) Server
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment
