Our Valued Public sector Client is seeking a Senior Data Architect to services to oversee the modernization of the electronic License Management System (eLMS) project.

Objective:

We are seeking a Data Architect to oversee the modernization of the electronic License Management System (eLMS) project, including the crucial task of data migration from the old legacy system to the new D365 Dynamics application. Given the years of accumulated data, this process will require careful planning, development, and execution to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and continuity.

A modernized eLMS will create the necessary infrastructure to support its functionalities and meet stakeholder needs, with a key focus on ensuring a seamless and secure data migration. This will preserve the integrity of existing records while enabling improved data management, better alignment with program requirements, and scalability to integrate with other internal systems, ultimately providing long-term support and a more user-friendly experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and data requirements for the new D365 Dynamics application.
• Establish procedures for data cleansing and normalization to ensure data quality and consistency before migration.
• Design the overall data architecture for the new system, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with other enterprise systems.
• Develop a strategy for integrating the D365 Dynamics application with existing systems and databases.
• Establish data governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and select appropriate tools and technologies for data migration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Oversee the data migration process, ensuring that data is transferred accurately and efficiently to the new D365 Dynamics system.
• Perform rigorous testing and validation of migrated data to ensure integrity, accuracy, and functionality in the new system.

Must Haves:

• Previous experience architecting a migration to Dynamics 365
• Reliability Status security clearance
• Experience working within an agile environment
