Senior Data Analyst with Google Analytics 4 expertise required to support Client's Marketing and Communications department. (190-25)

Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of a Senior Data Analyst with Google Analytics 4 expertise to support Client's Marketing and Communications department.

ROLE:

The candidate will be supporting Client’s marketing, communications and content strategy departments with data collection, analytics and insights expertise. They will report to the Communications, Programming & Customer Engagement (CPCE) division but will coordinate their work with Client’s Data & Analytics and Digital Experiences departments to ensure that objectives, metrics and activities are aligned.

Client is looking for expertise to support the department in using data to improve community engagement, optimize campaign strategies, and measure the impact of communications and marketing efforts. In particular, they would like to use data to better understand their customers and potential customers, and to translate that data into actionable insights that will guide campaign designs, aid in audience segmentation, and support targeted messaging and channel usage.

MUST HAVE:

• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

• Strong expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and familiarity with Google Tag Manager.

• Understanding of digital marketing metrics and channel analytics, including traffic sources, conversion rates, and engagement (by channel).

• Data storytelling, that moves beyond simple summary statistics, into trends, patterns and inferences that can be gleaned from data

• Best practices of data visualization and choosing the best visualization appropriate to the audience and data story

• Familiarity with accessibility and data privacy standards in the public sector.
