Description
Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to map business workflows, define API interactions, and prepare requirements for the software development pod.
Duration: Until December 2026, to start
Location: 3-4 days/week onsite in Brampton
Responsibilities:
- Map business processes and workflows to system capabilities
- Analyze backend data sources to determine appropriate inputs for promotional metrics
- Define source-to-target mappings and transformation logic
- Interpret API documentation and understand endpoint functionality
- Prepare structured documentation to support Product Owners in creating technical tickets
- Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and resolve data issues
- Support ongoing data validation and quality initiatives
Must Haves:
- 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Experience mapping business processes to system/data requirements
- Experience working within Agile environments (Jira, Confluence)
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
