Senior Business System Analyst for a large integration project initiative with client in Insurance Industry

Duration: 12 months

Location: 3 Days in Office (351 King St, Toronto) - If candidate sits in Mississauga (2 days in Mississauga, 1 in Toronto)

Hours: 8 hours/day

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute detailed system requirements phases and identify, track, and resolve business systems issues
• Assess, research, analyze, and document stakeholder needs, using the recommended or selecting the appropriate information gathering and/or modelling technique to elicit requirements
• Contribute to successful completion of project objectives with high quality, within budget, and on time
• Review test plans, scenarios, and cases as needed
• Support Development, Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing activities
• Build and maintain a repository of reusable system documentation
• Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints
• Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business unit partners through all project phases

Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in requirements management on large and complex projects
• Strong technical background to coordinate platform enhancements with software vendor(s) and internal business partners
• Experience working in the insurance industry, with a strong preference for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance lines (personal, commercial, claims, underwriting, policy administration, or billing systems)
• Experience working on projects related to: Digital, omni-channel, API or vendor integrations
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong collaboration with business, IT and operations stakeholders, plus system SMEs
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Agile Framework experience
