Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (10+ years) to develop an Asset Management (AM) Solution Strategy using EAM platforms and ISO 55000 frameworks (RITM0225538)

Join a high-visibility municipal initiative establishing the foundation for a citywide Asset Management Solution Strategy within a large-scale public infrastructure environment. This role drives the assessment of current asset management practices, development of future-state frameworks, and definition of business requirements for EAM platform evaluation. The engagement offers the opportunity to shape strategic recommendations and implementation roadmaps aligned with global asset management standards.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

• Minimum 7 years in Business Analysis supporting asset management, infrastructure, or enterprise transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated expertise in requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, process modelling, and gap analysis
• Proven experience developing Asset Management strategies and maturity assessments aligned with ISO 55000 or equivalent frameworks
• Practical knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms including IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, or Oracle solutions
• Degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting large, complex municipal or utility organizations
• Background developing business capability models and strategic operating models
• Familiarity with public sector governance and infrastructure transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

• Assess current asset lifecycle management practices and identify gaps in governance, process, data, and technology
• Conduct maturity assessments aligned to ISO 55000 frameworks
• Define target-state asset management capabilities, business models, and process frameworks
• Develop the comprehensive Asset Management Solution Strategy Report with roadmap and implementation recommendations
• Gather and document business and functional requirements for EAM solution selection
• Support evaluation of EAM platforms and define decision frameworks
• Lead stakeholder workshops to align priorities, standardization opportunities, and best practice adoption
