Senior Business Analyst – Systems Assessment & Replacement

Our client has an immediate requirement for a Senior Business Analyst with strong systems knowledge to support the assessment and planning for the replacement of a legacy application that integrates with key enterprise platforms like PeopleSoft, a travel system, and a registration platform.

You’ll lead current state analysis, define future state requirements, map processes, and assess options-including whether to issue an RFP or adapt existing platforms (e.g., Slate or Orbis).

Up to a 6-month assignment

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on system replacement, transformation, or modernization projects
• Ability to lead current and future state analysis, including gap identification and requirements definition
• Strong experience with process mapping and documenting business and technical workflows
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., PeopleSoft or other ERP's) and system integration concepts
• Experience evaluating technology options, including RFP development or assessing in-house platforms (e.g., Slate, Orbis, or similar)
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, especially across business and IT teams
• Proficiency with common BA tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Excel, Word, or other requirements documentation tools)
