Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Internal Audit, 5-8 years) to support audit planning, control testing, and issue validation across diverse capital markets projects

Engage in high-impact internal audit initiatives within a large banking environment, gaining significant exposure to capital markets and cross-functional teams. The role offers project-based assignments within an established audit group of 25-30 professionals focused on high-quality deliverables. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment across audit planning, control testing, and reporting activities. This opportunity provides visibility and variety across numerous organizational initiatives.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid - 4 days in office 100 Wellington Street West, Toronto

Must Haves

• 5-8 years of audit experience within financial services or banking environments
• CPA or CIA certification
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
• Ability to work across cross-functional projects ensuring accurate and timely financial control testing
• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or business

Nice to Have

• Experience in capital markets
• FRM or CFA designation
• Prior experience within The Bank’s audit team

Responsibilities

• Perform control testing and document results independently
• Support audit planning and participate in walkthrough meetings
• Prepare and maintain detailed walkthrough documentation
• Draft issue findings and validate issues with relevant teams
• Assist in completing audit-related reporting deliverables
• Collaborate daily with internal and external stakeholders during meetings
