Position Title: IT Project Manager - Senior

Line of Business: Alternate solutions group with Capital Markets - focused on payment related projects

Contract Duration: 12 months

Remote/Hybrid: Tues, Weds, Thurs in office

Location Address: 81 Bay Street - 16th floor

Job Description:

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects across Capital Markets, FX, and Payments domains.

• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring cost control and ROI realization.

• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation plans and drive resolution.

• Process Excellence: Implement and refine project management best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality delivery.

• Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Ensure project alignment with industry regulations and internal compliance standards.

• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior project managers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Must haves:

1. Minimum 10 years of previous experience as an IT PM - preferred banking background

2. MS Project/Microsoft Powerpoint

3. Jira/ Confluence

4. Previous Stakeholder management experience

5. Experience with Release planning

6. Solid financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets exceeding $5M.

Nice to have:

• Capital Markets products, FX trading processes and Payments

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
