Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid, Wednesday, Thursday and 1st Friday (in-office)
Office Location: 81 Bay 31st floor
Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday

What You’ll Be Doing
The Global Operational Risk Management Portfolio Management groups act as a 2nd line of defense (2LOD), ensuring that the bank's operational risk and control frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures are understood and used effectively to manage operational risk. This includes working with assigned lines of businesses to identify, measure, monitor and mitigate operational risk. This role includes specific coverage of lines of business within Capital Markets and therefore an intimate understanding Capital Markets businesses is preferred.
As a Senior Consultant, you may also work with the Director/Senior Director to help manage the team’s contributions to senior management reporting, including but not limited to regular operational risk reporting presented to various risk governance committees and internal reporting on key elements of operational risk presented to the VP.
How You’ll Succeed
Advisory Support and Independent Challenge - Collaborate with partners in your assigned business and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the 1st line of defense and the to ensure Capital Markets operational risk is appropriately identified/assessed, monitored/measured, and mitigated. Be able to demonstrate the qualities of being a pragmatic and solutions-oriented individual.
Building Partnerships - Build effective working relationships with partners in your assigned business as well as SMEs
Being Proactive - Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and take the time to see them through to fruition.
Must Have Requirement:
- Experience in Risk Management - 2+ years
- Experience in financial industry - 2 + years
- Strong MS office experience - 2+ years
- Project Management experience - creating project plans - process flows - 2+ years
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using AI
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Product knowledge
- Experience in Capital Markets
