Senior Application Tester to establish software testing procedures and automating the testing procedures using Automated Functional Testing tool in the pub

Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Senior Application Tester to establish software testing procedures of integration testing, regression testing with emphasis on automating the testing procedures using Automated Functional Testing tool (AFT). The resource will establish and operate "interoperability" testing procedures to ensure that the interaction and co-existence of various software elements, which are proposed to be distributed on the common infrastructure, conform to appropriate departmental standards (e.g. For performance, compatibility, etc.) and have no unforeseen detrimental effects on the shared infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Establish a validation and verification capability which assumes functional and performance compliance
• Manage walkthroughs and reviews related to testing and implementation readiness
• Perform and document impact assessment for change requests and work items using ClearQuest
• Execute and coordinate test plan and test cases, and document test results and test reports.

Must have:

• 5+ years experience using Automated Functional Testing tool
• 5+ years experience using reporting tools such as ClearQuest
• 5+ years experience developing database queries using SQL
• 5+ years experience testing software compliant to ANSI NIST standards.

Nice to have:

• Experience testing Operational Policing Biometric Fingerprint systems
