Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Application/Software Architect to support the design, development, and integration of enterprise cloud-based and productivity solutions.

Background:

The architect will provide professional informatics services in support of a SharePoint Online Custom Solution modernization project.

Tasks:

• Develop cloud technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies to meet business and application requirements
• Identify policies, standards, and requirements that drive solution design
• Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to address business problems
• Ensure integration of all aspects of proposed technology solutions
• Monitor industry and government IT trends to ensure solutions remain current and sustainable
• Analyze functional requirements to identify information flows, procedures, and decision points
• Evaluate and document existing procedures, methods, data structures, and subsystems
• Define and document interfaces between systems (manual-to-automated, external-to-internal, and legacy-to-new systems)
• Define input/output sources and develop detailed technical design documentation
• Establish and document system-specific standards for programming, documentation, testing, program libraries, and naming conventions

Must Haves:

• Application/Software Architecture - 10+ years
• SharePoint Online
• Relevant Certification ex.: Azure Fundamental Certificate; Microsoft 365 Fundamental Certificate; Microsoft Security, Compliance and Security Fundamentals Certificate; and AWS and/or GCP certificate.
