Senior Application/Software Architect to support the design and documentation of the AI Hub within the Public Sector

Our valued client is looking for a Senior Application/Software Architect to support the design and documentation of the AI Hub within the Public Sector

This role is responsible for assessing current-state application architecture, defining future-state models, setting architecture standards, and shaping a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to business, security, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors to guide solution design, integration strategy, and governance while enabling teams through coaching and structured reviews.

Key Deliverables

• Design and document the AI Hub technical architecture in Azure
• Configure Azure AI Translator, Cognitive Services, and API endpoints
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code templates (Bicep/Terraform) for deployment
• Integrate Azure Key Vault, API Management, and GCSSO authentication.
• Implement monitoring and telemetry using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Produce operational documentation and conduct knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Must Have Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years developing technical architectures, frameworks and strategies to meet the business and application requirements
• 10 + years experience in designing and delivering software applications.
• A university degree in a related* business or technology discipline;/A two-year college diploma in a related business or technology
