Our valued client is looking for a Senior Application/Software Architect to support our clients Enterprise Architecture Initiative, priorities, and outcomes within the Public Sector

This role is responsible for assessing current-state application architecture, defining future-state models, setting architecture standards, and shaping a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to business, security, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors to guide solution design, integration strategy, and governance while enabling teams through coaching and structured reviews.

Key Deliverables

• Develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies to meet business and application requirements.
• Identify policies and business requirements that drive solution options and strategic recommendations.
• Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions, including market and trend scans, to address business problems and align with government/industry directions.
• Ensure integration of all aspects of technology solutions by designing and documenting integration architecture across products and vendors.
• Assess performance and capacity at the architecture level and recommend architecture options to address bottlenecks and constraints.
• Analyze functional requirements and operating environment needs (e.g., data, interfaces, decision flows) and develop a system proposal with architectural options.
• Provide recommendations for technology evolution and roadmaps aligned to enterprise priorities.
• Review application and technical architecture for standards conformance and recommend improvements.
• Assess use cases for mainstream and emergent technologies (e.g., A.I., Blockchain) and recommend architecture options and guardrails.
• Support architecture and design reviews with project teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and facilitate sessions to leverage enterprise architecture and standards.

Must Have Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years developing technical architectures, frameworks and strategies to meet the business and application requirements
• 10 + years experience in designing and delivering software applications.
