Our valued client is seeking a Senior Application Architect (10+ years) to design and oversee Azure-based application solutions, including front-end, back-end, APIs, and hybrid/cloud-native architectures.

The role involves architecting scalable front-end and back-end solutions, designing secure APIs, and supporting hybrid and cloud-native deployments. The Architect will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and technical stakeholders in a small, agile team environment with shifting priorities. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) work with evolving requirements, and leadership in defining architectural standards and modernization strategies.

The successful candidate will contribute to IT modernization initiatives, including legacy system transformation, cloud-native architecture design, and deployment strategies that ensure scalability, security, and cost optimization across Azure platform services.

Must Haves:

• Experience designing applications in Microsoft Azure
• Experience with React or Next.js (UI architecture)
• Experience designing APIs using .NET Core
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, containers, serverless, PaaS)
• Experience designing SSO and MFA solutions (Azure Entra ID / AD B2C/B2B)
• Experience with legacy modernization and hybrid cloud architectures

Tasks:

• Lead architecture design for Azure-hosted applications
• Develop reference architectures and technical standards
• Define cloud cost management strategies
• Architect UI (React/Next.js) and API (.NET Core) solutions
• Assess and modernize legacy systems (including Oracle-APEX)
• Develop scalable deployment strategies with load balancing
• Design authentication frameworks (SSO, MFA)
• Develop Azure-based proof-of-concept solutions
• Lead code refactoring and re-architecture initiatives
