Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Analyst, Trading Systems Management (5+ years) to enhance trading and order management systems using SQL, Python, and data analytics

Must Haves

• 3-5+ years in data analytics, financial systems, or business analysis
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and Excel
• Experience in data extraction, cleansing, and ETL processes
• Background in dashboard/report development using Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with financial data, portfolios, or trading environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or trading platforms
• Exposure to predictive modeling, advanced analytics, or machine learning
• Experience with automation using VBA, scripting, or APIs
• Knowledge of asset management, portfolio analytics, or capital markets
• Experience working in Agile or Jira environments

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance trading and order management systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance
• Serve as point of contact for system inquiries and support front, middle, and back office users
• Gather and translate business needs into system improvements and data requirements
• Perform data validation and analysis across trading and operational systems
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards for decision support
• Identify process improvement opportunities through data automation and workflow optimization
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align systems with evolving business needs
