Our valued not-for-profit client is seeking a Senior AI Strategy Advisor to define and operationalize an enterprise AI strategy for a crown corporation client!


8 to 12 week engagement in Ottawa, ON. Candidates with the ability to work on-site downtown Ottawa will be prioritized.


Responsibilities:

  • Define a clear and shared AI vision aligned with business strategy and organizational values
  • Identify the support model needed for Enterprise Business Solutions required to enable and sustain the client's AI capabilities (including roles, responsibilities and how this works within the existing structure).
  • Refine and operationalize the governance model to support the identified maturity level the team is working towards (including tooling recommendations)
  • Establish a communication strategy
  • Establish a training plan both for general users and technology resources
  • Develop a phased roadmap to advance AI maturity over a 5 year period, including quick wins and long-term initiatives.

  • Executive Summary & Presentation
  • Detailed Assessment Report for both current and future state; options for support model and related costs with risks and opportunities called out for each


Must Have Skills:

  • Significant experience in AI strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise technology consulting.
  • Proven experience designing and operationalizing enterprise AI strategies and governance models.
  • Demonstrated success advising senior executives (C-suite / VP level) on AI or data-driven transformation.
  • Experience leading AI maturity assessments and multi-year roadmap development.


Nice to Haves:

  • Experience designing or operating an AI Center of Excellence (AICoE).
  • Strong knowledge of emerging AI regulations and standards (e.g., responsible AI frameworks, model governance standards).
  • Exposure to GenAI strategy, adoption patterns, and risk considerations.
