Senior Account - Data

Our client is seeking Senior Account - Data to work on a financial data migration to SAP

18-month term temporary employee (with benefits and bonus) role. Salary: $105,000 - $130,000 a year.

Hybrid working model in Downtown Vancouver - 3 days/week onsite - must be willing and able to travel to Anchorage, Alaska for 1 week per month

Must Have:

• CPA designation is required
• 5+ years of progressive high-level accounting experience in financial reporting, general ledger, cost accounting, internal controls, audit, or tax.
• Ability to independently interpret financial data and accurately apply accounting logic in a system and data migration environment.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, financial data structures, and internal controls.

Nice to Have:

• Public accounting experience
• SAP S/4HANA experience

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Global Data Owner, the Senior Accountant - Data will play a key role in supporting the data delivery within the Transformation Program. The position works closely with Accounting and Data teams in Anchorage and Vancouver throughout all project phases. It plays a key role in ensuring finance data is complete, consistent, and usable during migration from the current ERP system to SAP. The role will also have a matrix reporting line to the Lead, Finance Implementation & General Accounting who leads the data workstream throughout the project.
