Senior (10+ years) Project Manager to support a large scale IM/IT migration initiative.

Our valued public sector client requires the services of a Senior (10+ years) Project Manager to support a large scale IM/IT migration initiative.

Project manager will be working with internal clients and partners to deliver IM/IT solutions that enable NRC research centers to migrate to and become completely operational in the secure research network (SRN) and to sustain and evolve an IT environment that enables world-class research and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans and manage allocated project funds. This requires defining work breakdown structures and critical paths, identifying the technical expertise required, estimating the financial and human resources requirements to produce the deliverables and preparing the work schedule;
• Develop and maintain an appropriately tailored risk management plan to monitor and mitigate project risks;
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings and working sessions with the project team and other project stakeholders at all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure continuous progress and eventual success of the project;

Must Haves:

• 10+ years experience as a project manager
• Enhanced Reliability clearance
• Project Management Certification:
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Prince 2
• Certified Scrum Professional-ScrumMaster (CSP-SM)

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in a research or science based organization
• Shared Services Canada Experience
