Our public client is looking for an Intermediate ERP Release Lead/ Manager to manage full release lifecycle for ERP systems through Jenkins and cloud tools.


Initially 1-year contract with chances of extension. Fully remote but preferences will be given to Vancouver local candidates.


Must Have:

  • 5-7 years of experience working in a Release Lead, Release Manager or similar role in a complex integrated enterprise IT environment
  • Proven experience managing enterprise software releases in an ITIL or DevOps environment.
  • Experience managing release pipelines, creating, and leveraging Jenkins scripts.
  • Strong understanding of ERP Systems and release processes
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud versioning tools and multi platform maintenance within the same tool.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools.


Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, Agile, and DevOps practices
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo and/or Oracle Fusion
  • Understanding of Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and cloud deployments
  • Preferred to have related release management certification
  • Certification in ITIL, PMP, or Maximo is a plus.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, MS Project) is an asset.


Duties:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end release management lifecycle for ERP systems, including scheduling, coordination, and execution.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA/FA analysts, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to align release timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Build and maintain release pipelines using Jenkins and coordinate environment data refreshes.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical deployment issues.
  • Establish code management practices using tools like GitHub and maintain release documentation for audit and compliance.
  • Support testing coordination across integrated environments.
  • Communicate release milestones and maintain an accurate release calendar.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews, deployment planning, and post-release monitoring for stability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive collaboration and continuous improvement across teams with a focus on delivery excellence.
