Our public sector client is seeking a ServiceNow Project Manager (5+ years) to lead technology service management projects within local government operations

The role oversees full project governance from scope definition and planning through delivery and reporting, ensuring successful integration under the broader ServiceNow Program. Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

• Extensive experience leading enterprise IT transformation initiatives across complex multi-departmental public sector environments
• Proficiency managing ServiceNow programs including ITSM, ITOM, and related platform solutions
• Demonstrated background in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations supporting project delivery
• PMP certification with 5+ years of applied project management in technology service management projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field

Nice to Have

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or ServiceNow certification
• Experience managing agile or hybrid delivery approaches in enterprise ServiceNow projects
• Exposure to municipal or local government technology modernization initiatives

Responsibilities

• Prepare project definition and scope documents with guidance from management
• Collaborate with ServiceNow technical and business leads to align project lifecycle activities
• Manage project work plans, schedules, and reporting against plan
• Develop and track project budgets and support procurement and finance approvals
• Prepare communications and presentations for senior management
• Research project management tools and related topics in support of current and future initiatives
• Serve as focal point for project documentation and information under the ServiceNow Program
