Job Description:
The Application Developer - Intermediate (PeopleSoft) will support the PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade by retrofitting and enhancing existing customizations to align with the target version.
Key responsibilities include:
• Retrofitting and rewriting existing PeopleSoft custom code for the 9.2 target environment
• Enhancing current functionality where required to support the upgraded platform
• Working closely with senior developers and SMEs to execute assigned development tasks
• Supporting database-driven development using Oracle and SQL
• Ensuring customizations function correctly post-upgrade and align with internal standards
• Participating in team-based development activities (not a production support role)
This is a hands-on development role, focused on execution rather than solution ownership or leadership.
Must Have Requirement:
5-8 years of PeopleSoft application development experience
Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, specifically retrofitting existing custom code
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft proprietary development objects
Solid experience with Oracle databases and SQL
Ability to enhance and rewrite existing code rather than building solutions entirely from scratch
Experience working in structured, instruction-driven development environments
Nice to Have:
Experience with additional PeopleSoft proprietary objects (as outlined in internal requirement documentation)
Prior exposure to financial systems or finance-related PeopleSoft modules
Oracle or PeopleSoft certifications
