S.i. Systems statutory corporation client is seeking an ONSITE Senior Project Manager to lead the multi-year production program to process, conserve, digitize, QA/QC, and securely ingest large volumes of physical archival records into Digital Vault platform.


This work is primarily a logistics and production challenge-real records, real custody controls, measurable throughput, rigorous QA/QC, and tight integration between onsite operations and vendor offsite digitization.


Onsite - downtown Victoria - 95% of the time. Flexibility to work remotely may improve over time

Multi year program.

12 month contract to start, anticipating full time hours up to 40 / week


MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • Significant senior project/program management experience (typically 8+ years) delivering complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing operational/production/logistics delivery (e.g., high-volume processing, manufacturing/lean environments, warehouse/logistics, digitization factories, mailroom/scanning operations, records operations).
  • Strong competency with schedule and delivery forecasting, financial tracking, and executive-level reporting.
  • Proven ability to implement and run governance cadences (weekly reporting, RAID logs, decision tracking, steering/executive updates).
  • Ability to build practical dashboards and performance reporting using common tools (e.g., Excel/Power BI, MS Project/Smartsheet/Jira, SharePoint/Teams).
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to coordinate across operations, vendors, and technical teams.


NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with archival/records environments, digitization programs, or trusted digital repository / digital preservation concepts.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with domain experts (e.g., archivists, conservators, operations leads) while owning delivery governance and performance.
  • Knowledge of chain-of-custody controls, evidence-based QA/QC, and regulated information handling.
  • Experience in public-sector, privacy/security-aware environments (e.g., FOIPPA-aligned practices, least-privilege, data residency).
  • Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous improvement training/certification.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
