Marketing Specialist, Retail Investments - 87407

Duration: 1-year contract (possible extension)

Location: Toronto (3 days onsite)

Pay: $35.88/hr - $43.23/hr


Role Summary

This role supports the execution and operational delivery of Retail Investments marketing programs. Acting as the Marketing point of contact for offer escalations, the role works with Line of Business and cross functional partners to track, reconcile, and resolve issues. The role also executes (with support) smaller, well-defined initiatives and deliverables.


Key Responsibilities

Campaign & Program Support (30%)

• Support execution of quarterly and seasonal marketing campaigns

• Assist program leads with timelines, assets, and approvals

• Support internal toolkits and sales enablement materials

• Coordinate updates to the bank's website and internal platforms

• Maintain trackers and delivery documentation

Escalation Management & LOB Coordination (30%)

• Act as primary Marketing point of contact for escalations

• Work with Line of Business to intake, track, and reconcile issues

• Coordinate with Operations, Legal, and Compliance on resolution

• Maintain escalation logs and reporting

• Support peak periods tied to launches or migrations

Independent Project Support (20%)

• Manage smaller, well-defined marketing or operational initiatives

• Coordinate partners to deliver projects end to end

• Ensure adherence to brand and compliance standards

• Escalate risks and issues as needed

Stakeholder Collaboration (20%)

• Collaborate with internal partners across Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Digital

• Support agency coordination when required

• Respond to ad hoc requests within scope


Must-Have Skills

• Strong organization and coordination skills

• Detail oriented; comfortable in regulated environments

• Clear written and verbal communication

• Able to manage multiple priorities


Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience working at a Marketing agency

• Familiarity with data/analytics


Education & Experience

• University degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

• 3+ years marketing experience; financial services preferred

• Experience supporting digital or direct marketing programs
