Description
Our financial services client is seeking a Manager, Customer Segments (5+ years) to lead strategic partnerships across youth and student segments
Duration: 24 months
Location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid (Must work from office on Tuesdays & Thursdays & Alternate Fridays)
Join a retail banking team focused on driving customer acquisition and engagement through impactful campus and non-campus partnerships. This role develops and executes strategies connecting with domestic and international students as well as broader youth audiences. It offers ownership of partnership design, sponsorship management, and collaboration across marketing, product, and branch functions to deliver integrated experiences. The opportunity includes a potential extension or conversion to permanent employment.
Must Haves
- Minimum 5 years in strategy, partnership management, consulting, or business development
- Proven success building and scaling external strategic partnerships that drive growth across customer segments
- Experience in or understanding of youth, student, and newcomer segments, including domestic and international distinctions
- Background or related education in banking, financial services, or customer growth environments
Nice to Have
- Experience working with post-secondary institutions, youth ecosystems, or community organizations
- Background in banking or financial services
Responsibilities
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with post-secondary institutions, student associations, and youth organizations
- Design and execute acquisition and engagement programs across campus and non-campus channels
- Lead partnership strategies around admissions, arrivals, back-to-school, and early career transitions
- Develop and manage sponsorships, co-branded initiatives, and scalable partnership programs
- Collaborate with internal partners to deliver integrated and compliant customer experiences
- Analyze performance data to optimize acquisition, onboarding, and retention across customer segments
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine partnership strategy and positioning
