Our client is seeking a Junior Project Manager to manage small projects (40%) and support Project Managers (60%) under a large Technology Transformation Program


Initial contract goes till Mar 2026. 35 hours/week. Minimum 2 days/week on-site in Vancouver including Thursdays.


Must Have:

  • 3+ years as a Project Manager; managed at least 1 full lifecycle project
  • Project Coordination/Administration background
  • Experience with ERP projects
  • Comfortable with day to day administrative tasks such as taking meeting minutes, creating presentations, updating reports, support budget tracking, coordinating meetings and calendars


Nice to Have:

  • Completion of a CAPM at minimum (preferred) or PMP designation.


Position Summary:

The Junior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing small to medium scale projects or smaller components of large scale projects or program. The incumbent will work with and provide support to the program manager, project managers, tracking progress, managing project communications, Conducting analyses and other associated project tasks. The position also provides oversight and support for the project and consultation SharePoint sites and acts as digital librarian. The incumbent will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment with the work performance standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manages the preparation, coordination, and execution of tasks within programs, projects and overall IT PPM department support:

· Maintains project management deliverables as needed, including project schedules, budgets, meeting documentation, and other related administrative tasks or duties.

· Offers follow-ups and reminders for project resources and stakeholders.

· Support projects and programs as needed, including maintaining schedules (where needed) and progress, milestones and milestone reviews, preparing status report documents/presentations, documenting meeting minutes and action items, and other related administrative tasks and duties

· Provides orientation and work direction to project team members as assigned.

· Conducts internal and external research, sources information, creates and organizes surveys, produces various reports and presentations, and analyses data relevant to project work

· Assists with allocation of resources to the project including tracking and reporting of resource allocation.

· Facilitates project meetings, project communications and status reporting.

· Updates the IT PPM SharePoint site with project artifacts and maintains the “Go Live” and “IT Communication” online calendars.

· Compiles resource allocation reports and actual hours reports monthly.

Coordinates the design, development, and maintenance of project communications:

  • Maintains effective communication with internal stakeholders and with external members of the community to ensure organizational awareness and understanding of projects.
  • Develops and updates the project and consultation SharePoint sites.
  • Develops project communication materials in consultation with others

Provides general assistance to support project operations:

  • Supports the development and maintenance of program and project policies, procedures, processes, guidelines, and professional development and training materials.
