Description
Our valued public sector client is hiring a Junior Project Manager to coordinate minor project activities for Air Traffic Management modernization.
Background:
The Junior Project Manager will support a minor initiative focused on replacing outdated systems and ensuring they meet current operational standards, ergonomic requirements, and policy compliance. This role will help standardize processes across multiple locations, modernize legacy equipment, and improve overall efficiency and usability for system operators.
Tasks:
- Plan and coordinate project management activities including financial planning and contracting aspects
- Provide updates to management on project progress and address concerns
- Coordinate and prepare documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports and returns
- Produce draft plans and sections for incorporation into the Project Implementation Plan
- Prepare draft evaluation plans, criteria and evaluation schedules
- Track and maintain the project budget and support team resource requirements
- Monitor design and implementation processes to ensure alignment with project goals, objectives, and milestones
- Report project progress weekly and at scheduled delivery points
- Meet with stakeholders and address project interdependencies
- Coordinate and collaborate with project teams to ensure content, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met
- Draft and prepare formal project documents and reports for review and approval
