Work Location: Hybrid 2 days in office (starting in November 4-days in office), Toronto, Ontario

Scope of Project: Interacting with business banking - part of the core team for this project so 7 people max

Team Size/Culture: Small group, everyone will be needed and real time solutions.

SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Collect clearly specified data inputs, populate data templates, check for data completeness.

- Prepare model inputs (minor data wrangling and validation may be needed), execute Python/PySpark notebooks in Azure Databricks, extract model outputs.

- Populate interactive Excel templates, perform basic reasonability checks.

- Communicate results and progress with stakeholders; escalate issues and blockers.

- Follow procedures and checklists, adhere to timelines.

- Maintain simple documentation/logs; suggest small process and documentation improvements.

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

-Basic Python programming skills: read/modify simple scripts and notebooks, manipulate data frames, handle I/O, configs.

- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills: comfortable working with structured templates and following strict formatting rules.

- Quality mindset: meticulous attention to detail, ability to spot obvious anomalies (missing data, extreme outliers, etc.).

- Operational discipline: follow checklists/procedures, meets timelines, keeps stakeholders informed.

NICE-TO-HAVE

o Azure Databricks: basic familiarity with notebooks

o PySpark and SQL (basic familiarity): reading from delta/JDBC sources, filter/join/aggregate queries.

o Code versioning: Git and GitHub/Bitbucket basics.

o VBA basics.

o Basic familiarity with the Bank's credit products and/or credit review processes.

o French: functional proficiency
